This past weekend we had the opportunity to create balloon décor for an annual benefit dinner here in the Phoenix Area. The theme – “Imagine Italy”.
Purple Grapevine arches decorated each of the entrances, and Jumbo-sized Grape Clusters were stunning accents in the ballroom.

People often ask for suggestions on how to decorate a gymnasium to look more elegant. One solution that works well – drape the ceiling.
Ceiling Drape – Great Décor Idea for a Gymnasium
Ceiling drape can help make the room feel more cozy and intimate. It also draws the eye, making things like basketball hoops and scoreboards less noticeable.
Ceiling Drape in White & Peach
Ceilings can be draped in a variety of colors and designs.
Looks like these Saint Patrick’s Day “Puppies” are anxious for a walk!

Most areas of the country are seeing snow this time of year. To many that means frosted car windows, slushy/frozen roads, shoveling sidewalks,… Here in Phoenix Arizona it’s 70 degrees outside. We DREAM of snow and winter!
White Lantern Shimmering Centerpiece
This weekend we helped to decorate for a “Winter Wonderland” themed performing arts event. Draping the ceiling at this venue was a bit of a challenge, due to the basketball standards, half-wall, and limited anchor points. Overall, everyone thought it turned out beautiful.

Jungle Balloon Column with playful monkey and adorable elephant.
Balloon Twisted Monkey
We created this column for a recent Jungle-themed baby shower. While there, we got a peek inside this expected little guy’s bedroom. All four walls have been beautifully painted as a continuous jungle scene – complete with adorable jungle animals, palm trees, streams,… with letters and numbers strategically hidden in the painting (something fun for him to discover as he gets older). Absolutely FANTASTIC! (I wish I knew who the artist was….because it was totally A-MA-ZING!)
Balloon Twisted Elephant
Wishing this family all the best!
One of the great things about being a balloon artist is the variety of types of work we get to do. This week we’ve done things from balloon twisting for a carnival, creating elegant autumn decor and fun Halloween decor, providing a balloon release for a wedding and … creating circus animals – some of them life-sized!
Perched on his pedestal, this lion stood 5′ tall.
10 of these playful monkeys were scattered throughout the venue. (Each stood about 40″ tall.)
A giraffe that juggles? (This column stood over 11′ tall)
This giraffe, seeming to balance on a ball, stood over 11′ tall.
This adorable elephant holds a pink parasol while precariously balancing on a ball. (Overall height – aprox 6′ tall.)
With the help of some FABULOUS volunteers, we created over 30 of these fall centerpieces – “Autumn Starry Elegance”. These ladies had never done anything like this before, but they were fearless and willing. Didn’t they do a fabulous job? 😀
Note: I based this design off another design by Jan Iams with Conwinonline.com
A chili cook-off with 19 teams competing….each team assigned a different “color”. This is what we came up with to decorate each table. Simple, striking and oh so fun! You guessed it, we created them in 19 different colors….red, green, blue, yellow, black…. 🙂
In September, we provided balloon decorations for my niece’s wedding. She asked for the “Wrought-Iron” decor I’d designed for another wedding, along with some centerpieces, in rich blue, violet, and sage, to compliment her “peacock” theme.
My husband with one of our grandsons – too cute!

This month we were privileged to provide balloon decor for the 2014 Delta Gamma Convention in Phoenix, AZ. Huge balloon anchors in various sizes and colors were created and placed in several areas at the Arizona Biltmore.

These bright and colorful ceiling balloon decorations added such a fun touch to Bella’s (creator of Origami Owl) birthday celebration! LOTS of yellow and accents of hot pink. Trendy, youthful party decorations.

We were asked to provide balloons for three high school commencement ceremonies this week, which were held at Wells Fargo Arena (ASU Campus, Tempe, AZ).
(Mesquite & Desert Ridge held their ceremonies on the same day, and were able to share their balloon decor.)
